Our journey begins where others often end: with wood that might be considered waste. Knobby, split, or beautifully spalted, we acquire what others overlook. Each piece is carefully cut, racked for natural drying, and prepared for its transformation into a truly unique Bob's Bowl.
The craft unfolds, layer by layer
Once the wood is ready, the magic begins on the lathe. This is where we start to envision the final form, enhancing its natural beauty. We meticulously cut, sharpen, sand, and sometimes carefully fill cracks with resin. Every turn, every stroke, brings us closer to the magnificent finished piece.
